How do I convince my wife to wear thongs ?

I want her to look sexy. She gives different reasons like She is already 30+. Thongs are meant only college going girls. Sometimes she says, in India ladies don't wear thongs. I don't believe as I see them in all the markets in India morever traditional panties give very weird look. I don't like them.

It is not true that only college going girls wear them. Women of all ages wear. It is very comfortable to wear and operate with. It gives modern look to the ladies. It has nothing to do with the country. Many women in India do wear them. In countries like India where temperature is high, I would recommend this apparel to all ladies. Ask her to try in the home first. May for couple of hours and then increase the frequency. It should help.

Would you wear a type of underwear that you didn't feel comfortable in if your wife wanted you to? You're giving her the message that she isn't sexy unless she wears a thong. I suggest you grow up!
Buy her an expensive one first!
Go to Victorias Secret and buy her a collection of thongs you would like to see her wearing. Give it to her as a gift and give her compliments to persuade her to wear them. "Your looking beautiful today!" "Your going to look so good in these!" "This [thong] is my favorite!"
Your wife is correct and I do wonder why you would want her to do something which makes her uncomfortable just to please you? If you don't think she's sexy, just as she is, I guess you shouldn't have married her.
the easiest way is to buy her some but be careful not to get the cheap ones, go for a good brand that she knows cost you a bit more and avoid anything too revealing or see-trough. try nice silk or even interestingly cut cotton ones which shows you care about her comfort. or get her the whole set with a bra as well so she would want to wear them together. believe me, every woman loves the feeling of luxurious underwear set : )

ok well did your wife used to wear thongs before or never? Well you got to understand that panties are comfortable for ladies rather than thongs. So maybe she got used to wearing underwear over thongs, and maybe you didn't say anything about that so she thought that was ok with you. Did you try talking to her about wearing thongs again? Tell her you would love to see her wear a sexy thong from time to time, especially for sexy moods. Take her to a nice lingerie store, show her what you like to see her in. It will make it easier on her if you give her your opinion. There are some many nice lingerie stores out there to choose from. Tell her nice things about her body, how much you love her shapes; this will encourage her to wear thongs and be confident about wearing it, not trying to hide it. Well hope some of my advices helps you and your wife.
She's telling you this because she doesn't feel comfortable with the idea, and if she doesn't want to do it, you can't force her, so stop trying so hard to make her do what you want. If she's telling you this, it means she's not comfortable with eher body (reminding you of her age is the giveaway here) and she feels you don't care about her as she is, only about the image you want her to project. By the way, being sexy and looking sexy are not the same thing!! You can look sexy to others, but if you don' feel confident witih the look, you're not going to feel sexy, no matter how hard you try. If you really care about her listen to what she's saying and don't pressire her into doing this just because you want her to.
At the end of the day, its about comfort. If she is not comfortable she won't feel/ look sexy. You both can try different ways to look attractive for each other.

if she doesn't want to wear them, why would you force her? if she's going to be uncomfortable with herself while she's wearing one, how would that be sexy? you're probably making her feel worse about herself. and also, thongs are not comfortable! ditto what other people said: how bout you wear one and see if you like it!

Let her wear what she wants!!! - you put one on and see how confortable they are . . you will change your mind quickly and think her traditional panties are just fine. Dont' be so insecure!!!
