Why are most car models women in bikinis? I'm not saying it's wrong but honestly in my opinion, it annoys me. The advertisement is supposed to be about the car, however there is sometimes a woman revaling lots of skin. Personally I think they rae promoting sex, not cars. Why do they have to use women in bikinis to advertise cars instead of something else?

They were running all over town for three days, posing in bikinis in lewd positions, and did not ask for permission from the City Council. We have an indecent exposure ordinances on the books that mentions "nudity and lewd dress." Does anyone know if such actions constitute indecent exposure? If not, could anyone suggest how we might go about strengthening our city ordinance? Many of our families did not go to their jobs out of protest (and lost pay) and many had to keep their young children off the streets. What do you (esp. men) really think of all the real thin female models & celebs out there, attractive, sexy? Was flipping thru a couple of women's magazines and couldn't belive the pictures of some of the women. There was an ad for Calvin Klein where the model is (wearing a white bikini) so thin it's awful. Then there are pictures of Victoria Beckam, Katie Holmes, Kate Hudson, etc (plenty more), where they actually look sick. Now, I know some people have problems gaining weight & are natural very "thin". What I refer to are these people (men do it too) who starve themselves to get like that. I'm all for the recent ban in Spain against too thin models. More countries should follow the lead. Btw- no need for the "fat" comments, there's a huge (pun intended) between "fat", "skinny" and HEALTHY.
